Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
[Deuteronomy 6:7 NIV]

Matt Fuqua: We all grew up in Christian homes and I don’t really remember, you know, not believing, you know in God. But I can remember my entire life my parents just you know giving me the scripture even very early. Like my earliest recollections of my, you know, childhood I can remember my dad, you know, talking to me, reading stories out of the Bible and memorizing verses. And those verses have, you know, always stuck with me all growing up and even in the hard times. Like Josh was saying about, you know, when we go through these parts of our lives where we question what we believe and you know those verses would always give me encouragement and comfort when I needed it. And so I mean the Word has always, you know, been, you know, in my heart and God’s always brought it to my mind, you know, whenever I needed it.
