“Mercy Me: Being A Shepherd At Home [:58]”
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.
Bart Millard, lead singer of Christian music band Mercy Me, shares how the band lately has been focusing in on their home first and their ministry second.

Hi MercyMe…
I just wanted to write to you about my sister. If you ever had a fan, it was her and me. Her awesome husband bought her tickets to come see you 2 Christmas’ ago, I think in Calgary or Edmonton. She was thrilled and she always told me when you had new songs out and stuff. She was my best friend and she lived her life for our Lord and Saviour, who took her home 3 weeks ago. I am finding it very hard to sing “Jesus bring the rain” yet it is so soothing at the same time. I can’t describe what feelings I all have, yet she is now dancing with Jesus, sleeping with Angels and completely healed of her horrible disease that ultimetly took her life, Crohns. That death is not from God is what is keeping me going, I ache for my mom and dad, she was only 25, and for her dear young husband and for me. I feel like writing u this is kindof a connection because your songs have been playing non stop since this happened… thank you for loving Jesus and sharing your songs with our world. Bobbi’s home and i have never been more homesick that now.
