“I’m Lucky and Blessed to be Alive”
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Matt writes:
I’m 18 years old and I was in a near-fatal car accident on January 2nd, 2009. I suffered some broken bones, torn up lungs, and a traumatic brain injury. I was in the hospital for 23 days and in 291 hours of therapi before I was released back into “real life.”
I’m lucky and blessed to be alive and feel like God has a purpose to keep me in this world. I read and still read this verse (Jeremiah 29:11-13) every night before I go to bed. I was discouraged for the longest time because there were things I couldn’t do (school, walk for a while, etc.), but once I accepted God and how he used the accident in my life, I realized he has our life planned out and that everything happens for a specific reason.
The future for me is bright now and I look back on my accident and the verse and thank God for turning that bad set-back in my life into a good change in my life and I also thank God for changing me and turning me into a strong believer in Him. God knows the plans for you, plans not to harm you, but to prosper you. God is so good.

Dear Matt:
“The future for me is bright now…God knows the plans for you, plans not to harm you, but to prosper you. God is so good.”
Hallelujah, Amen.
You being a living proof, what powerful words!
Truly, “many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails
(Proverbs 19:21).
Like the Psalmist, I am mindful of the Word of GOD:
“…call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me”
(Psalm 50:15).
GOD never fails to deliver my family and me.
I am fulfilled when I honor HIM.
Thank you.
May GOD ALL MIGHTY Shower His inestimable and infinite Blessings upon you;
GODSPEED, always and forevermore!
Mary Sun.
