“I Put My Life In His Hands”
“And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.”
Melissa writes:
I just gave my heart to God,and put my life in his hands.This verse spoke to me in so many ways, as a new christian especially. I hope all new chrisitians read this verse. It gives me great comfort, and I believe god sent it to me.

Dear Melissa:
I became a new Christian in my late teens.
Now, more than half a century later, like you, I still “gave my heart to God, and put my life in his hands.”
Truly, I could not imagine what a wretched life it could have been for me and my family had we not “received the Word of God…and accepted it for what it really is, the Word of God,”
“of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power” (Ephesians 3:7).
Only then, can we “not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21).
We thank GOD for the love in hatred, hope in despair, faith in goodness, and peace in this tumultuous world He has showered upon us unconditionally, with His ever lovingkindness and Grace.
And, “with one accord we may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ” (Romans 15:6).
Thank you.
May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you for
Happy New Year 2009;
GODSPEED, always and forevermore!
Mary Sun.
