“God Has Always Been There”
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Marie writes:
My life has been a series of struggles and troubles. I grew up in an abusive home with physical, emotional, sexual and mental abuse. I found the Lord when I was 17 at a church camp. After God came into my life, it was never the same, even after marrying an abusive 1st husband,who beat me and was unfaithful, to the 2nd husband who committed suicide, leaving me with 2 young children and no life insurance and lots of debt, to a place of peace and prosperity. Through all the things God brought me through in my life, He has always been there. God is with us before we ask Him into our lives, He is with us through each step we take in our Christian life and He is already there TOMORROW, before we even know what tomorrow will bring. We have to trust God and keep reading God’s Word. All the answers you ever need to know in life, are in God’s Word.

Dear Marie:
Your faith and trust in our Almighty God’s ever presence with us even in hard and difficult times radiate beautifully, and will no doubt uplift the spirit of many, who are suffering from economic woes this Christmastide.
You resonate the Psalmist:
“Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us;
There is none to compare with You.
If I would declare and speak of them,
They would be too numerous to count” (Psalm 40:5).
You said it,too: “All the answers you ever need to know in life, are in God’s Word.”
For “In all their affliction, He was afflicted,
And the angel of His presence saved them;
In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them. And He lifted them and carried them all the days of old” (Isaiah 63:9).
And “The angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy
which will be for all the people’” (Luke 2:10).
Thank you.
May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you and yours with His abiding love, peace and joy;
GODSPEED, always and forevermore!
Mary Sun.
