I Am Longing For A Child

    Dear Natecia:

    I trust that you and yours have already gone through the processes of seeking professional assistance on medical as well as psychological problems causing the inability to conceive, and thus the remedies and solutions to be considered.

    From the bottom of my heart, I ache for you, as I thank our God the Father anew for His overflowing Blessings showered on us for our five sons and five daughters–however an imperfect ten they are.

    No doubt, I pray for you. Please be “still confident” that miracles do happen (Genesis 17:15-21; Genesis 25:21; Judges 13:1; 1 Samuel 1: 6-20; Luke 1:5-25, etc.).

    You, no doubt, represent the voice (and tears) of the disappointment over the childless situation of many.

    “Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion” (Psalm 51:1).
    “Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, and in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom” (Psalm 51:6).

    When couples cannot conceive, the biblical call to trust God means following His leading. It may mean building your family through adoption. Several couples I counsel with now recognize that their childlessness is, in fact, the doorway to great spiritual fruitfulness of a different kind. One hears often that childless couples themselves conceive shortly after adoption. Or they accept to live without children for the work of His Kingdom.

    Yes, trust in the Lord; wait for his interposition when all other resources fail:
    “Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield” (Psalm 33:20).

    Thank you.

    May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you and yours with the fulfillment of your hearts’ desire;
    GODSPEED, always and forevermore!

    Mary Sun.

    blessings from the LORD ALMIGHTY to you all;
    AMEN.

    Natecia… I can completely relate. My husband and I have been trying for over a year for a child and God has not blessed us with this YET. I know it is coming, but it is hard to wait when you long for something so badly.

    I know this much… you nor I would have this desire within us if God Himself didnt put it in there.

    I will keep you and your husband in my prayers.

    Be blessed….
