God Brought Love In Front of My Eyes

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

[Romans 12:1-2 NIV]

Dionne writes:

God would never promise you anything that you would have to compromise for. I had a desire to meet a good man that I would eventually marry. In college, while all of my friends were in the clubs and drinking, I was in my room studying, praying, and having a good time with the Lord. I knew I wouldn’t feel comfortable at a club or bar. And I knew that I would not have to go to those places to meet my future hubby :) I met my love in class and I know he is the one for me. I also didn’t have to chase him. The Word says: He who finds a wife, finds a good thing; and that I’m worth more than rubies. Rubies are sought and my sweetheart found me. This is just one example of how the Lord will bless you and give you all the desires of your heart when you stand for righteousness, don’t conform to this world, seek God, and trust in Him completely.

    Dear Dionne:
    What a beautiful story with a happy ending!

    “…your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own” (1 Corinthians 6:19).

    You stated it concisely: “when you stand for righteousness, don’t conform to this world, seek God, and trust in Him completely.”

    We are, therefore, to surrender our body to the Lord, and glorify Him in our daily life.
    For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men (1 Peter 2:15).

    “So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good” (1 Peter 4:19).

    Thank you.

    May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you and yours inestimably and infinitely;
    GODSPEED, always and forevermore!

    Mary Sun.
