Dear Ashley:
I echo your message, and sing with the Psalmist: “Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake” (Psalm 79:9).
Simultaneously, I feel that the joy of Christmas is here and now: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14).
“Amen, Blessings and glory and wisdom, and thankgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” (Revelation 7:12).
