God Takes Me As I Am

“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!”

[Romans 5:5-10 NIV]

Christopher writes:

WHAT THE LORD IS SAYING IN ROMANS 8:24 THE WORD SAYS THAT WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE BUT HOPE THAT IS SEEN IS NOT HOPE FOR WHAT A MAN SEETH WHY DOTH HE YET HOPE FOR. ROMANS 5 VERSE 5-10 IS TALKING ABOUT GODS LOVE BEING GIVEN TO EVERYONE AND IS FOR ANYONE WHO WILL RECIVE HIS SON JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOUR VERSE 8 IS MY FAVORITE BECAUSE IF YOU READ VERSE 7 IT TALKS ABOUT HOW SOME MIGHT SACRIFICE THERE LIFE FOR A GOOD MAN, BUT GOD DIRECTED HIS LOVE TOWARDS US IN THAT WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS CHRIST DIED FOR US. AND THATS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE LORD. IS THAT HE TAKES YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE. THE WORLD IS FULL OF HURTING PEPOLE WITH WOUNDED SPIRITS, I WAS ONE OF THEM UNTIL JESUS CAME INTO MY LIFE AND FIXED MY BROKEN HEART. I JUST HAD TO WRITE A SHORT STORY I’VE LOT’S TO SAY BUT MY KEYBOARD SKILLS ARE SLOW. SO I’LL LEAVE YOU WITH THAT FOR NOW MAY THE LORD KEEP YOU AND BLESS YOU BYE.

    Dear Christopher:

I admire your insights into, and compassion for that “THE WORLD IS FULL OF HURTING PEPOLE WITH WOUNDED SPIRITS.”

Nonetheless, “It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all” (1 Timothy 1:15).

“…for this reason I found mercy, in order that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience, as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life” (1 Timothy 1:16).

Truly, while we had no power of justification, to make an atonement or to put away the Divine Justice of God, my faith in His copiously abundant love has sustained me in all my afflictions.

For “Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end” (John 13:1).

Consequently, “According to my earnest expectation and hope, that I shall not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness Christ shall even now, as always be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death” (Philippians 1:20).

The Holy Spirit was bestowed upon us by His everlasting Lovingkindness and Grace. And our faith in “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” (Galatians 5:22).

    Thank you.

    May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you infinitely and inestimably;
    GODSPEED, always and forevermore!

    Mary Sun.

  2. Michael says:

    Dear Christopher,

So many of us including myself tend to take better care of the physical man, more than the spiritual man. To be like Crist, is to be spiritually minded. The word tells us not to worry about the physical man and as long as we have food and raiment, therewith be content. The spiritual man however sometimes gets overlooked and crys out for help and our hearts need nourishment, which comes through gods word. God’s word is life and is the “light” which lighteth every soul that cometh into the world and brings us out of darkness that we may know the truth and the truth shall set us free, free indeed.

I wrote a song about a spiritual healing, I hope it’s a blessing to you and help you along the way.
It’s titled, “The Great Physician” and it’s about the spritual man finding peace for his soul and the light that shines that he may see more clearly

    “The Great Physician”

A troubled mind, no peace within
seaching for awnsers in a life of sin.
Everywhere that I turned, no rest could I find
Until the Great Physician gave me peace of mind.

    [Chorus]

The Great Physician healed my soul
He took my broken heart and made it whole.
When I was dying, no hope could I see
The Great Physcian came and healed me.

I was struggling along, my way to find
With no direction, my eyes were so blind.
But a miracle happened, a change in me
The Great Physician made these eyes to see.
    [Repeat Chorus]

Also I would like to quote some of his word from the New Testament.

“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not!” Had they known him, they would have not crucified him, the living word of god.

In the beginning was the “word”, and the “Word” was with god, and the “word” was god. And the “Word” was made “Flesh” and dwelt among men, and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the father, and his name is Jesus. The name of which all of heaven and earth is named, and at his name every knee shall bow and tongue confess that “He” is “Lord”, and to him shall the glory be forever more. Amen

    God Bless You!
    Michael
