One Response to “Overcoming Stress and Anxiety”

  1. Mary Sun says:

    Dear Corinne:

As usual, your every motherly word touches the very depth of my humble heart and soul.

With all your angst yet comforting words, I hear your beloved son Manuel’s subconscious responses.
He prays: “Free me from the trap (of drug/vice) that is set for me, for you are my refuge” (Psalm 31:4).

Being in the legal system, however,
he “still dread all my sufferings, for I know you will not hold me innocent” (Job 9:29).

Most importantly, nonetheless, you have given him Hope: “Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me” (Psalm 142:7). In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free (Psalm 118:5). For “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

The day will come when you and your beloved son experience first hand: “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth” (Psalm 46:10).
For your contrite son, with your unconquerable understanding and loving support, realizes: now that he has been set free from sin and has become slave to God, the benefit he reaps leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life (Romans 6:22).

    Thank you.

May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you and yours, and to your beloved son,

    my message in Christ is:

May your father and mother be glad; may she who gave you birth rejoice!” (Proverbs 23:25); and
“Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you”(Luke 11:27).

    GODSPEED, always and forevermore!

    Mary Sun.
