God Will Never Leave Me

… because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

[Hebrews 13:5a NIV]

Jackie L. writes:

This verse lets me know that God is always there for me.

When I mess up (fall short of his glory), he’s there. If I’m lonely, he’s there. If I’m sad or afraid, he’s there. When people give up on me, he doesn’t … and never will!

When I got sick and tired of living, having survived domestic violence, family and friends told me it was my fault that everything was happening the way it was.

I asked family if they cared if I lived or died. “No” was the answer.

Well … Jesus cared. He stepped in and never left me!

    Dear Jackie L.:

Your profound faith, and the ’salvation’ thereof here on earth, could not have been better expressed: “When I mess up (fall short of his glory), he’s there. If I’m lonely, he’s there. If I’m sad or afraid, he’s there. When people give up on me, he doesn’t … and never will!”

The Psalmists knows this too well. They know the principle on which to rely, that their Righteous God will not forsake his people: “Depart from evil, and do good So you will abide forever. For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His godly ones….” (Psalm 37:27-28; Psalm 94:14).

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1)

In the New Testament, (Jesus said:) “But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin…because he has an unclean spirit” (Mark 3:29-30).

“The Lord is MY HELPER, I will NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT SHALL MAN DO TO ME?” (HEBREWS 13:6).

Yes, “Jesus cared.” For “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, yes and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

    Thank you,

    May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you infinitely and inestimably;
    GODSPEED, always and forevermore!

    Mary Sun.

Dear Jackie, Your words have encouraged me tonight. I am thankful that you understand the magnitude of God always being with you. When all else fails God is there. When people who say they love you with their lips and leave you high and dry, God will always be there to comfort you. Morning, noon, and night especially in the midnight hour, God is there. And for that I am thankful. I will pray that the God of all comfort continue to keep you today and always.
    Peace and Blessings,
    B. Michelle

  3. Teresa Johnson says:

    Jackie,

People who are connected to the Kingdom of God
love you. Unfortunately, so many Christians love in the realm of the “flesh.” Which automatically makes it faulty. But those who are
truly connected to the Kingdom of God, know how to
enter into Agape love, love in the spirit realm.

Did not the Lord tell us, “Love one another as I
have loved you?” You ARE loved, precious, and
already you are connected to the greatest love of
    all, our Saviour Himself!

And YES, He did tell us He would never leave us or
forsake us! There is true love.

Domestic violence is a work of darkness and we need to address it IMMEDIATELY. We are to have
no company with violent men. (or women)

YES, he cares for you precious, and so do I. Bless
    His Holy Name.

    In Him, TJ

  4. Davis C Bruce says:

Hi Jackie: To be told that your own family does not care whether you live or die is a hard thing. For you to realize that God is your real family, that is a great thing. Not all people see it that way, and you bave broken the bonds that keep you here on earth, psychologically, and have placed all your hope and trust in God, and you are on your way to heaven, and to your real family, Jackie. It is awesome that you are so focused on what really and truly matters; not an easy thing to do in our present world….
