“God Revealed Himself to Me”
You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Blondie writes:
Based upon hypocritical examples I saw in those who claimed to be Christians and God-fearing people, including those who had violated my body through incest, rape and molestation, I rejected God.
One day, after over 30 years of being bound to the emotional scarring of incest, rape and molestation, I cried out, what I thought was one last time … and the true and living God revealed himself to me.
That encounter healed the scarring, took away my anger, hatred and desire for revenge and set my feet on higher ground.
From that hour my life changed, my mind changed, my heart changed, my career changed, my thoughts changed. My life has never been the same.

And I celebrate with you the healing and freedom you’ve experienced!
I’d love to hear more, if you’re willing to share, about how God revealed himself to you. What happened in your encounter with God?
Thanks again, Blondie. Blessings to you!

Dear Blondie:
Your turbulent past has made mine appear now merely a few raindrops compared with your ‘ocean’.
I admire beautiful you and salute you for your triumph.
More often than not, our ALL MIGHTY GOD’s purposeful calling for everyone of us is too unique beyond our comprehension, and too exalted beyond our grasp.
Nonetheless, we can be comforted that nowhere unto any corner of the earth will we not be in a world without HIS PRESENCE, our GRACIOUS FATHER, who can protect, comfort, guide and sustain us. “Thy Hand lead me, and thy right hand uphold me….” (Psalm 139:10; 141, 142:3).
I, therefore, strive to heed the voice of Isaiah the Prophet: “MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE HIS PATH STRAIGHT. EVERY RAVINE SHALL BE FILLED UP, …AND THE ROUGH ROADS SMOOTH; AND ALL FLESH SHALL SEE THE SALVATION OF GOD.’” (Luke 3:4-6).
Thank you, and
May The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you…always and forevermore!
Mary Sun.

Blondie,
I too went through a rape from someone who called themselves Christian and was seen as someone of good values from his peers. It hurt to deep to think that someone who wanted to be Christ like, would do something so despicable. God in His absolute grace was able to restore my inconsolable soul and brought me back to His feet. Thank you for sharing something so intimate and I also celebrate with you in the freedom that can only be found through Him!
