“I've Surrendered More Fully”
For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.
Isaiah R. writes:
My thoughts are that when I got saved I found that I really didn’t surrender fully. I was still holding on to the secular because it was what I knew.
Later, I was in a car accident that nearly killed me, but I still didn’t surrender.
Then God sent people in my life to guide me and tell me who I was. I am a child of the most high, who gave his life in exchange for mine.
This verse told me I’m free, and that meant a lot, so I live life to the best of my ability and let God do the rest.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made you free, and don’t be entangled again by the yoke of bondage. God’s Word for thirsty seekers. Amen.

Dear Isaiah R.:
Your splendid family photo reflects unmistakenly that you are all children “of the most high.”
Your are living proof of being free with justification by faith, and you live life to the best of your ability “and let God do the rest” is such an apropos and needed example for the here and now.
While Paul has assured us that we have been called into freedom by the gospel, he cautioned that it is so easy to abuse our “liberty,” and believe that Christ has freed us from all restraints and from the bondage of all law. Under the pretense that we are free, the evils of indulgence of raging passions of the flesh would only give rise to strife and mutual hatred.
On the contrary, Paul meant for the Galatians/us to serve one another, for the fruit of the Spirit is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness…” against which there could be no law. (Galatians 22- 23).
Thank you for invigorating my humble mission, and
May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you and yours,
GODSPEED, always and forevermore,
Mary Sun.

Isaiah, thanks for sharing! The following phrase really resonates with me: “… so I live life to the best of my ability and let God do the rest.” I love that. Thanks for that bit of inspiration!
Blessings to you.
