God Answers Prayer

[Jesus speaking] For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

[Mark 11:23-25 KJV]

Sylvia D. writes:

I sometimes just depend on the Lord to show me what he wants me to read and know. I recently opened up my Bible and my eyes fixed on Mark 11:23-25. These verses gave me hope!!

These verses let me know that I can ask of God what I will, and if I believe, he will give it to me according to his will. I am expectant and hopeful, and want others to know that the Lord will answer their prayers and give them what they ask of him.

Just wait on him, and don’t ever give up!!

Sylvia, I can feel your passion and excitement — I can feel your hope. Thanks for that gift.

Jesus’ words in this passage (Mark 11:23-25) are a bit mysterious to me … but I definitely sense that they’re hopeful words.

    Blessings to you, Sylvia!

    Dear Sylvia D. :

The Bible, too, is my daily spiritual bread. I depend on the Word therein from the moment I rise and pray.

Jesus explained to His disciples that the deaf and dumb spirit “cannot come out by anything but prayer” (Mark 9:29).

Jesus Himself prayed. His condescension on earth consummated in the most loving and powerful words on the Cross: “Father, forgiven them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34).

When we try to live our humble family “a house of prayer,” we feel at peace and serene–knowing that we are forgiven and must forgive. Our family is known as ‘workaholic’, as we have so much positive energy to serve the Lord, each in our own humble profession and ways with fulfilment joy.

Yes, I “Just wait on him, and don’t ever give up!!” Thank you for reinforcing my faith.

May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you, always and forevermore,

    Mary Sun.
