“I Made a Wise Decision”
[God speaking] “To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.”
Renata writes:
It’s amazing how the Lord took me back and embraced me after I left his presence. When he spoke with me through this verse, I was desperate. And since then I have never left his presence.
I made a covenant with the Lord to serve him for the rest of my life, and since I made that wise decision, my life has changed. Praise the Lord, thank you, Jesus. It’s a great feeling to be able to be called his daughter.

Dear Renata:
Like you, I have also “made a covenant with the Lord to serve him for the rest of my life” decades ago.
Since then, daily I pray “Our Father in heaven…and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors….”
Thank you for reminding me that, what God had once commanded Adam (Genesis 1:28), He reiterated to Noah and his sons. It is an everlasting covenant initiated by our beneficent Creator.
God promised that never again would the world be destroyed by flood (Gen. 9:15).
I humbly pray that like you, we mankind will make a covenant with the Lord to serve him for the rest of our lives, so that we will not be self-destructive and overshadow the “rainbow”–the covenant sign–with our free will, but be always reminded of our ever loving and compassionate God’s promise and commitments to us and serve Him.
May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you this New Year and beyond,
Mary Sun.
