What a sweet and precious young man. His sincere love for his Savior shines out through him. May our Lord bless this willing vessel to lead many lost souls to him through Jesus.

Phil, thanks for sharing! I loved your point about how we seem to take on God’s attributes as we spend more and more time with God. I’ve found that to be true.
Said another way, “We become like the God we adore.” If our image of God is distorted (e.g., if we view God as harsh, cold, distant, vengeful and judgmental), then we may take on some unhealthy attributes. If our image of God is healthy, we’ll tend to take on those healthy attributes. So it seems to me that it’s important to not only spend more time with God, but to be honest about our view of God and journey toward healing our view of God, if necessary.
Wow, I got on a roll there. Anyway, thanks again, Phil, for that important reminder and analogy.
