Shawn, thanks for sharing.
As you shared, I felt a little sting. You reminded me of my own reality — that I typically have a hard time receiving and responding to praise and affirmation. That’s primarily a result of my woundedness. I have a hard time receiving love in general. Thankfully that’s changing, as I continue to heal and grow.
As you shared, I felt a sting of pain, yes, but I also heard an invitation from God to soak in Love, and I did that for a bit. So thanks for that, for being a doorway to my own reality and a doorway to experiencing God’s love.
