“Bible's Helping Me Stay Sober”
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

As I read God’s word, I’m reminded that I am loved, forgiven, and set free. Jesus, while dying on the cross for us, quoted God’s Word.
Through the Bible, I am told how I can live a victorious life. I have been sober for almost a year.
The thing that bothered me while drinking was that my walk with God was minimal to non-existant. I have been learning so much about walking with God and living the life God choose for me — and it is through reading the Bible and praying that I am able to do this. My life is worth living when God is the leader.
