“Surviving an Accident, Growing In Faith”
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Mike H. writes:
About 15 years ago I was in a very serious auto accident. I was drinking and flipped a van over four and a half times, end over end. I was ejected out of the van through the middle of the windshield and ended up in a ditch. About 30 minutes passed before people finally found me.
I had died a few times waiting there in the ditch and more when they found me (which were documented at MCV - Medical College of Virginia).
Let me digress to one of the many times I passed. I recall that I went somewhere, and I was in the most beautiful place I had ever seen. It was all white like no other, I cannot even explain how wonderful it was. A peace came over me that, wow, was simply amazing.
I was kind of in a tunnel of glorious white that got even whiter at the end. I was on like a moving sidewalk going toward a woman, I thought. When I reached the end, a woman dressed in all white, sitting at a piano that was white also, was playing the most beautiful music I had ever heard. I thought to myself, “I am here, I have arrived and this is where I want to be.”
The EMTs used the defibulator on me and shocked me back to life, but I was then in a coma. I remained in a coma for 32 days.
I had broken my arm, ruptured my diaphragm and, last but definitely not least, my neck had broken in 3 places. Because I was in a coma, they did not even x-ray my neck. But once again Jesus was with me, and I did not move for 32 days, which provided some time (though not ample time) to get things straight.
Then I was x-rayed, and they said I should not have made it. But I did. And they told my poor mother that I would never walk again. Fooled them. There’s more to tell you, but it’s too lengthy.
Now after reading this portion of my story, I hope you’re convinced that there is a God.

As a Christian, if we don’t have faith, we don’t have nothing.

Mike, thanks for sharing! I was so moved and captivated by your description of your experience after “death.” The “glorious white,” the “peace,” etc. Your description certainly made me long to be in the place you described … and it filled me with a sense of peace and rest.
Thanks again for sharing.

Dear Mike H.
Your most compelling testimony has not merely brought me down on my knees, and uttered “Thank you GOD ALL MIGHTY…,” that you have survived to narrate the miracle, but like Oliver Twist, I “want more.”
Perhaps you will publish a book?
Witnesses of our Living Christ and Savior like you good self hopefully will bring more people of the world to HIS Flock, and thus, peace on earth.
Mary Sun.
