“We Lost Our Daughter”
… for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
Lisa R. writes:
Our daughter Emily (in photo at left) was killed April 19, 2007, in a car accident due to tire failure.
She was sold out for the Lord, doing missions, reaching out to others and having a passion and zeal for God. She was to be married July 21 to the love of her life, but that never happened. We celebrated her wedding day at her grave, realizing that she is only sleeping - her soul is now in glory with Jesus, dancing, singing, rejoicing!
Our family looks forward to going “home” and being re-united!

Lisa, thanks so much for sharing about Emily. I’m so sorry about your loss. I can’t imagine how hard it must be.
Thanks, too, for sharing the photo of Emily. In some sense I can feel her warm, loving presence as I look at her photo.
Blessings to you, Lisa, as you and your family continue to grieve.

Dear Lisa R.:
We share your grief beyond words.
This is the most profoundly beautiful tribute that touched the depth of my heart.
Yes, “In My Father’s house there are many mansions….”
You have touched us with your living faith.
May GOD ALL MIGHTY Bless you and yours, always and forevermore!
Mary Sun.

Lisa, I lost a son in a car accident too so I know what you are going through. As we know some good always comes out of tragedy and I got saved after this. Long story, will be sending it into this site in the near future. Watch out for my story of how God healed me.
