Ron, thanks for sharing so vulnerably! I deeply appreciated your story and was inspired by it.
I, too, am recovering from a view of God as the “cosmic policeman.” And I, too, am growing in finding my identity in God.
For me, the journey of healing my view of God and healing my identity is a difficult, slow, good and beautiful journey. I wish it was faster — I wish I could be fully recovered today! But it is what it is … a journey.
