“God Flooded My Soul With Peace”
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Barbara K. writes:
When my husband, a Navy officer, was killed in action, along with 36 other shipmates, my 5-year-old son and I were called upon to participate in an internationally publicized ceremony in a Muslim country.
The 37 flag-draped coffins were solemnly paraded in front of our faces and loaded onto a military plane for transport back to the U.S. As we stood there, I held my son’s hand with one hand and a New Testament with the other hand.
As those coffins were paraded past, I literally “lost it” - I couldn’t even pray. All I could do was hold on to that Bible for dear life, and put my entire trust in what it says. Suddenly, God flooded my soul with peace and strength (His peace, His strength), and I was able to talk to the Muslim reporters and even give a testimony for the Lord that was published internationally.
Romans 8:28 is really true!

Hi
Thankyou for sharing your encouraging testimony. I pray that God will be with you in a mighty way.
I am currently working as a temporary receptionist for a military charity in the UK - I am just here for three weeks. This is a beautiful testimony. Reading it has really helped me.
