“It’s OK to Cry”
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Everybody’s always telling me to stay up, be strong. We’re always trying to exalt ourselves to something bigger; we never want to be down. But this verse tells me to be poor in spirit, stay humble, let Jesus fix me when he wants to, leave the pulling up to him. It’s OK to cry and not be lifted up, to mourn and not be comforted.
