Always Giving My All

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

[1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV]

Ashley writes

My life verse, 1 Corinthians 10:31, has impacted me deeply. It’s both convicting and encouraging to think that even down to the most mundane activities of my day, I can and should be doing those to the glory of God!

A special note from American Bible Society (ABS): Ashley is an ABS Endowment Scholarship recipient and is in her second year at Indiana University School of Medicine. Her volunteer work clearly exemplifies that she has a passion for the field of medicine and human service. While still a high school student she volunteered on mission trips to Venezuela, working with a periodontist in providing basic dental care. She also served as an interpreter, prayer counselor, and volunteer coordinator for Mercy Health Center, a Christian clinic that provided free medical care to the poor and uninsured. Ashley is a member of the Christian Medical Association, and leads a women’s Bible study and a leadership prayer group. In speaking of her faith, her life, and her work, she says, “I loved getting to know the patients and helping them to see our actions toward them as evidence of God’s love for them.”

One Response to “Always Giving My All”

  1. Sam says:

It’s always a sacrifice to live everyday for Christ, and to always Glorify Him in what we say and do. It’s a battle, no doubt about it, because the enemy is relentless…So I hide behind Jesus for safety. 1 Corinthians 10:31 is Christ directing, and me following him to live that way.
