“I Knew I Had God’s Support”

I found this verse 6 years ago when I was going through a trying time. I had just discovered I was pregnant with my fiance’s child and all of a sudden he said he wasn’t interested in getting married anymore. We were both Bible-believing Christians at the time. I was 25, he was 36.
Naturally I was devastated. I knew abortion was out of the question, but sometimes I was tempted to explore that option.
One day as I was reading the Bible I saw this verse and I saw clearly in my mind the pictrue of a Father (God) holding a child (me) and leading me. From that moment I knew one thing for sure: though the road ahead was not going to be easy, I had God’s support all the way.
My daughter is 5 years old now, and I can boldly proclaim that God has been faithful.
