“Doubting Jesus”
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Brenda B writes:
As a Christian for many years I still tend to drag along a few of my favorite sins of the flesh that serve to remind me of why I need Jesus. The number one biggie for me… doubt. Even after all these years in moments of weakness, crisis or frustration, I will doubt that Jesus can ever do anything to help humankind. Then I will remember the verse I claimed years ago to show me just how wrong I am.
At first I would read Romans 8:38-39 when I was tempted to doubt Jesus. Then I started reciting it. But now it is so embedded in my heart that I just visualize it in my spirit and the Holy Spirit prays it for me while I bask in the glory of the connection between us.
Only God can take a sinful situation and turn it into a grace filled act of forgiveness and remembrance that nothing can take me from Him… nothing.

Hi Brenda. I stumbled into this website and read your testimony. The word you shared ministered to me. I am experiencing tough times as I struggle with physical isolation and stress-related anxiety in a foreign country that is less than 2% Christian. Thanks for the encouragement. The Lord continues to sustain us in times of weakness.
