I felt rejected: the Bible says I am accepted

Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.

[Psalm 98:1 NIV]

Jutta writes:

jutta.jpgAlmost throughout my whole life I have sung this song of “I am not worthy, I am a failure, nobody loves me but everybody rejects me.”

Last Sunday I read this verse in my daily readings and it greatly encouraged and spoke to me… it’s written like an order, “Do it!” -rather than “if you feel like it. . . “

So it’s not only an encouragement but also a great help to eventually get into a a new song, the one that God has written already over my life - that I am worthy, I am loved, I am accepted: by Him first of all.

He will work this miracle in my heart and life: to accept HIS truth for my life - and therefore I’ll be singing a new song. . . HIS song.
