“God’s faithfulness during crisis”
For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins. You made men ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water,Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.

Due to the difficulties I’ve faced (some of my own making and some not) I have been “refined as silver is refined”.
I have gone through such trials as cancer by age 21, an unfaithful husband, the death of two children and the great challenge of being married to an alcoholic who doesn’t yet know Christ… but God is so faithful! No matter what crisis has arisen in my life, God has given me His Word to encourage and strengthen me.
He has enabled me to fight off self-pity and bitterness through His Word. My favorite translation is The Amplified because it explains in such detail the meanings of the original Hebrew or Greek. I am so thankful for my Bible!

Praise You and You ALONE, LORD Jesus, for Your unending faithfulness to this precious lady who is Your true child. Continue to strengthen her, O Father. Thank You, LORD Jesus. Thank You also for The Holy Ghost that You have placed within her to comfort and teach and guide and keep her.
Please lead all of her family and loved ones to You, Dear Father. Please bless her also for sharing Your testimony of Your faithfulness with us. Thank You for Your unending and infinite favor upon her. In Jesus’ Name I pray.

This was my first visit to this site and I was blessed to read this testimony.I too have gone through the trials of cancer and was an alcoholic for over 15 years.I was delivered overnight from alcohol and cigarettes.I am so sorry for the loss of the children,but I know God has a plan, and part of it is the sharing of this testimony.I pray that you will feel Jesus’s loving arms wrapped around you every day.I Thank God for His word and could not have made it to where I am today without it!!! Staying in The Word keeps us closer to Him!!! God Bless!!

i continually praise GOD for grace made available to us HIS children to rise above many, if not all trials. i am also one who has gone refining since age 37.am 54 now,and there are many more trials i undergo, but these trials over the years were the same instruments GOD used to make me completely rest in HIS goodness and faithfulness to me.to mention them one by one will take my entire lifetime. all i can say is that GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME…no matter what happens to us.

I can’t understand what it’s like to lose a child because I’ve never been a mother but You’ll be able to understand Job’s situation. Just rememeber that God knows all things and will give you double for your troubles in this life time.
May the Lord continue to bless and keep you and make His face to shine upn you always.

This is my first time visiting here. Thank you for sharing your testimony. When we go through trails, it is used to make us stronger, trust in Jesus more and to be able to give others hope in Jesus Christ. We all are witnesses in Jesus Name. By sharing our testimonies, it helps others to overcome their circumstances. Remember, in Romans 8:28, it states that all things work together for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Also, Romans 8: 37 it states that we are more than conquerors. Praise God!!!
