“I am made in God’s image and am Beautiful!”
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created him; male and female created he them.
Wanda writes:
For the past twenty-eight years (four of those years since I have been married), I have had a problem with self-esteem.
In the past, I have tried to do just about everything under the sun just to make myself physically attractive to my husband as well as to myself. As I would look in the mirror, I would just break down and cry at the reflection that stared back at me because I had thought of myself as a hideous human being.
It was one day as I came across Genesis 1:7 that God opened my eyes to see that since I was made in His image, I was beautiful through and through.

Thank you for such a great reminder of a truth I so often forget. God created each one of us so uniquely and distinctly; we’re his works of art! He chose our physical attributes, our strengths, and our weaknesses.
Back in college, a friend nudged me memorize Psalm 139 as a reminder that I am “fearfully and wonderfully made” and that “his works are wonderful.” I still go back to that Psalm now and again when I need to be reminded of what God thinks of me.
Keep on clinging to the truth of how and why God created you, and your identity as a chosen child of the King. :) We’ll be praying for you!

What a beautiful testimony to the Lord. I am so blessed to have found this group. Together we can help change this world for our youth - to give them a hope and a future.
God bless all, and let the Circle of Prayer be a testimony to Your Loving Kindness and Grace. IN Jesus name we ‘rest our case”, Amen.

Your story is very inspiring. Psalm 139 is also my favorite scripture. It has taught me that God has made me beautiful and that I must become the best person He made me to be. I am beautiful in His sight when I take care of the body He gave me, study His word and live it, and love Him first, myself second and my neighbor as myself.

How wonderful that a loving God would bring you to His wonderful word to uplift you!!
I was touched by your story and I am very blessed to live in the present to read such stories of hope.
To the creators of this website, may God richly bless you as you bless others.
Thank you.

Thanks for this beautiful testimony of how The LORD Jesus delivered you from Satan’s tormenting thoughts about your beauty. God indeed made you beautiful. There is NO ONE like you. NO ONE.
Indeed, you are fearfully and wonderfully made just as The Word says.
And you are beautiful.
Thank you so much for sharing this.
