“God has a plan for your life.”
I will bless you with a future filled with hope–a future of success, not of suffering.
Bill B writes:
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 42. Shortly before that time, I went to church with the woman I would later marry and it was the best experience I had ever had. The following day, I went to work and at lunch, I went on the web, found the church’s website, and on it was the verse, Jer 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord.” At that moment, I felt in my heart that the Lord was saying to me, “Yes, I have plans for you.”
Up to that time, I looked at my life and saw emptiness, loneliness and realized that everything I had done on my own hadn’t amounted to anything. So hearing God tell me that He has plans for me was the best news. Soon thereafter, I heard the gospel and ran to Jesus to accept his gift of salvation. My life has been changed because of that verse. To this day, when I tell others or think about that verse, I tear up and praise God for His love and for the day He drew me to His Son.

God does have plans for each one of us. Observe why and what he desires:
Acts 17:26-27
26From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.
