“Join me in rejoicing in the Lord!”
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! (NLT)
Barbara R. writes:
This means so much to me, because there has not been a lot of joy in my life, yet, I can rejoice in the Lord.
I am raising four granddaughters, I am 53 years old, and I have numerous health disabilities. Among them, I have a disc in my neck which is compressing the nerves in my spinal cord, causing severe pain, my thyroid quit working, and I have a cataract in my right eye. I was born deaf and have an coarctation of the aorta. Yet, there is joy in Him.
Love is a true form of sacrifice, and raising these children means giving up a lot of my time and “retirement” to being a mother again. Ah, I have the true riches of this world. These precious eternal lives are being shown His love through my witness. I can rejoice in the Lord about that. True, this is not easy, but it is a wonderful journey.
Join me, rejoice in the Lord, and again I say rejoice.
