“Understanding and enjoying Scripture”

By the grace of God my father taught me my need of Christ as Savior and Lord when I was in my early teens. Now that I am a grandmother I appreciate what he did more than ever. My husband and I have been engaged in prison ministry for about 20 years. Today’s English Version has been such a blessing to the inmates. They can read it, understand it and enjoy it, so we have been giving this lovely version to many of our prisoners. My favorite Old Testament chapter is Isaiah 55, the Gospel in the Old Testament and Romans 12, living out the Gospel in the New Testament. Thank you American Bible Society, for your help in making the Scripture understandable and enjoyable!
