“ABS sends Bibles to struggling AZ schools”
It is with sincere gratitude that I send you this thank you letter for your generous gift of one hundred Bibles to one of our struggling schools in Yuma, AZ and for the ten Bibles you sent to me at our Motherhouse to use for my work with young women discerning their direction in life.
The students our Sisters minister to in Yuma, AZ are from a vast array of backgrounds including poor students who would not have a chance for a Christian education were it not for our Catholic High School. The Bibles you provide are used to assist them in their studies and prayer. The Lord’s Word becomes more a part of them because they are able to have their own bible. The students learn to lead prayer for the entire student body and in their churches always based upon the Word in Scripture.
The young women I have been guiding often come without having been exposed to how to use the Scriptures. I have used the Bibles for classes, time of prayer, individual study and for spiritual direction. Please be assured that our prayers for your fine organization continue to be very up-to-date.
